Annette Lake Trip Report 6/22 – 6/23

Off exit 47 of I-90, this is probably the most accessable of the Alpine Lake hikes. Fortunately, it’s a real beauty. The trail is free of snow until you are within 50 feet of the lake, but poses no obstacles. The lake itself is snow free as are all the campsites. We stayed over night and had the lake to ourselves. Leaving Seattle at 3:30pm and having your camp set up 7pm on the shores of a gorgeous alpine lake, you can’t beat that!

    Hey Justin,
I was looking for a nice hike to do this weekend and came across your site on the WA trails association website. Beautiful pictures and great to see you are doing well! I’m back in Seattle doing residency and will follow your site for some good travelling tips (as always).
    all the best,
    Mary
