Back from Vietnam

I’m back and getting adjusted to Seattle life. It was a successful trip in many ways. I took 3,591 photos which will keep me busy throughout March. It’s a good thing I enjoy the editing process. The people were fantastic, the food delicious, and logistically, Vietnam is as great country for traveling. In the following posts I will discuss photography lessons learned, photos and the process behind them, a critique of lodging and transportation, and tips for travelers headed to Vietnam. Starting things off is the very first shot I took in Vietnam, a view from the balcony of our hotel in Hanoi. Balconies are common throughout the hotels of Vietnam, and offer great views at bargain prices.
